Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refund requests are handled by Kernel and Cocoa Traders in relation to the sale and supply of agricultural commodities. Due to the nature of agro-products and international trade, refunds are managed carefully and according to agreed contract terms.

Nature of Agricultural Products
Agricultural commodities such as cashew kernels and cocoa beans are natural products and may show slight variations in size, color, moisture, or texture. These natural differences are not considered defects when they fall within agreed quality grades.

Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds may be considered if the goods delivered materially differ from the specifications agreed at the time of purchase. Any request must be supported by clear evidence such as inspection reports, photographs, or third-party verification where applicable.

Inspection Upon Delivery
Buyers are responsible for inspecting goods upon arrival or collection. Any quality concerns or discrepancies should be reported within a reasonable and agreed timeframe after delivery.

Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be granted for issues arising from improper storage, handling, or transportation after risk has transferred to the buyer. Market price changes, buyer preference changes, or delays caused by shipping lines, customs, or regulatory authorities are also not eligible for refunds.

Order Cancellations
Orders already processed, packed, or shipped cannot be canceled unless agreed in writing. If a cancellation is approved, administrative or logistics costs already incurred may be deducted.

Resolution Process
When a valid claim is confirmed, solutions may include partial refunds, replacement in a future shipment, or mutually agreed price adjustments. Each case is reviewed fairly to maintain long-term business relationships.

Processing Time
Approved refunds or adjustments are processed within a reasonable timeframe after agreement by both parties. Timelines may vary depending on banking and international transaction processes.
